Guwahati: Lt Col Amarinder Singh Walia an Army public relations officer was taken into custody on Friday, May 25 in Tezpur of Assam in connection with a murder case.
Changsari Police under Kamrup district worked with Tezpur Police to detain the army official in a case involving the murder of a woman.
According to reports, a woman from the South visited the PRO between February 13 and 14. After it was determined that the woman had been murdered, Walia was taken into custody.
