Army’s Trishakti Corps Works to Rebuild Connectivity After Sikkim Flash Floods

Northeast Desk, 17th October: The Indian Army’s Trishakti Corps remains committed to aiding Sikkim in the wake of the devastating flash floods caused by the glacial lake outburst flood (GLOF). They have been actively involved in rescue missions and the restoration of connectivity in the affected areas.

Trishakti Corps recently shared a video on a social media platform, demonstrating the efforts made by their sappers to rebuild and reconnect areas that were cut off by the flash floods. In the video, army personnel can be seen working diligently to construct a foot suspension bridge over the turbulent waters of the Teesta River in North Sikkim, despite challenging weather conditions.
