Arsonists Strike in Guwahati: Unidentified Miscreants Set Four Two-Wheelers Ablaze

Guwahati, 24th July: Residents of Hengerabari area in Guwahati were left in shock and dismay as a group of unidentified arsonists carried out a brazen act of vandalism on Sunday night. In a coordinated attack, the miscreants allegedly set fire to four two-wheelers parked in a lot, causing extensive damage to the vehicles.

The incident happened close to the GMDA water tanker at a parking lot in Lichubagan. A KTM motorcycle, two scooters and a bullet were among the targeted two-wheelers. Witnesses report that the parked motorcycles were rapidly engulfed by the flames and were entirely destroyed.

Prompt action from locals in the vicinity helped in containing the fire before it could cause further damage. No injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.

Authorities were alerted, and the local police reached the scene to investigate the suspected arson attack. The motive behind the vandalism is yet to be determined as the investigation is ongoing.

Residents of the area are now concerned about the security of their parked vehicles and have urged the authorities to step up vigilance in the locality to prevent such incidents in the future.
