Arunachal: Aalo Town Gets New Multipurpose Hall and Riverfront Walkway
Aalo, West Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh: Aalo town in West Siang district witnessed a significant development on Sunday with the inauguration of a 400-capacity Multipurpose Hall and a scenic walkway along the Yomgo Riverfront. Both projects, worth Rs 5 crore each, are set to enhance the town’s infrastructure and recreational facilities.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by Chief Minister Pema Khandu and four of his cabinet colleagues, including local MLA and Sports Minister Kento Jini.
Speaking at the event, Chief Minister Khandu expressed his admiration for the newly constructed Multipurpose Hall, stating, “This magnificent facility is a testament to the dedication and hard work of all involved. It will not only serve as a venue for various events but also foster community bonding and growth.”
The Yomgo Riverfront walkway, another highlight of the day, offers a serene and picturesque setting for residents and visitors alike. The walkway’s modern design seamlessly blends with the natural beauty of the river, creating a tranquil space for relaxation and recreation.
