Arunachal: BJP Announces Fasting Programme Ahead of Assembly Election Results in Longding-Pumao Constituency
Northeast Desk, 21st May: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) gears up for the imminent Assembly Election results with a fasting programme scheduled for June 2nd in the 59th Longding-Pumao Assembly Constituency.
According to a circular issued by the Office of the BJP Longding District, the fasting programme encompasses a series of prayer activities to be conducted at respective polling booths. These include confession prayers for any perceived wrongdoings during the 2024 election campaign, prayers for a favorable election outcome, and blessings for Shri Tanpho Wangnaw, the BJP candidate, and his family.
Additionally, prayers will be offered for all BJP voters, election agents, and party officials, as well as for the smooth functioning of the electoral process, including counting agents and officials involved in result declaration. The circular also underscores prayers for the formation of BJP governments at both the central and state levels, with specific hopes for three Assembly Constituencies within the Longding District.
Panlem Wangpan, Mandal President of the BJP Longding District Unit, encourages all BJP voters to participate in the fasting programme, scheduled from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM on June 1st, 2024, at their respective polling booths.
