Arunachal: BJP Organizes Tiranga Yatra in Papum Pare District as Part of Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan
Northeast, August 14 — The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Papum Pare district organized a Tiranga Yatra from Welcome Gate, Amba to CHC Hospital, Doimukh on August 14 as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. This initiative aimed to honor those who sacrificed their lives for the country.
The yatra was flagged off by former MLA of 14th Doimukh, Tana Hali Tara, alongside BJP leaders from the district. The event included the hoisting of the national flag at Doimukh Tinali.
Tana Hali Tara emphasized the importance of paying homage to the nation’s martyrs and maintaining the dignity of the Tricolour. Ngurang Logi, BJP District President of Papum Pare, noted that the four-day program aims to foster patriotism and uphold the pride of the national flag.
The yatra began at the Community Health Centre (CHC), Doimukh, where BJP workers conducted a cleanliness drive under the Swatchhata Abhiyan. Additionally, flags were distributed to workers across various circles, including Kimin, Tarasso, Balijan, Gumto, Banderdewa, Doimukh, Sangdupota, and Chiputa.
Key leaders involved in the initiative include Techi Nakap, General Secretary of Papum Pare district, and Ngurang Logi, District President of BJP. The Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan is part of a broader effort to promote national unity and integrity.
