Arunachal: Car Engulfed in Flames Amid Extreme Weather Conditions Near Chowkham

Northeast Desk, 26th May: A car was engulfed in flames amidst extreme weather conditions near Hathi Ghat, just 5 kilometers from Chowkham town toward the Tezu road. Despite the vehicle being completely consumed by the blaze, the quick reflexes of the owner allowed them to escape unharmed, and fortunately, no casualties were reported.

Eyewitnesses described the scene as the car became engulfed in flames, sending plumes of smoke into the sky. Police swiftly responded to the incident to contain the inferno and investigate the cause of the blaze, suspected to be related to the severe weather conditions prevailing in the area.

While the exact cause remains under investigation, the district administration has issued precautionary measures to the public, urging them to exercise caution, particularly during extreme weather. Drivers are advised to keep car windows open to prevent potential fuel-related accidents and to avoid overfilling fuel tanks, which can pose significant risks during such incidents.
