Arunachal Chief Minister Pema Khandu Unveils Vision for ‘Viksit Arunachal’
Northeast Desk, 4th July: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu has reaffirmed his commitment to realizing the vision of ‘Viksit Arunachal’ by implementing comprehensive and inclusive development strategies aimed at reaching all corners of the state, including its remotest areas.
In a recent post on X, Khandu, who has taken oath for a third consecutive term, outlined his administration’s priorities, emphasizing equitable access to essential services and infrastructure across all communities.
“We are dedicated to achieving the vision of ‘Viksit Arunachal’ through comprehensive and inclusive development strategies. Our goal is to ensure that even the remotest regions have access to essential services and infrastructure,” Khandu stated.
Central to this vision is the full implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which Khandu highlighted as pivotal for transforming Arunachal Pradesh’s educational landscape. The NEP 2020 aims to enhance educational access, quality, and learning outcomes, equipping students with skills essential for their personal and professional growth in the 21st century.
“The complete adoption of NEP 2020 will facilitate universal access to quality education and elevate learning outcomes throughout the state. We aim to empower our students with 21st century skills necessary for their holistic development,” Khandu affirmed.
Khandu’s vision underscores a proactive approach towards holistic development, ensuring Arunachal Pradesh progresses inclusively and sustainably into the future.
