Arunachal CM leads Delegation Honors Ram Temple in Ayodhya
Northeast Desk, 6th February: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, together with his cabinet colleagues and a 70-member delegation, undertook a momentous visit to Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Their objective? To pay homage and offer prayers at the newly inaugurated Ram temple, a revered symbol of faith for millions across India.
On February 6, the delegation landed at the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport in Ayodhya. Arunachal Pradesh had already demonstrated its profound connection with the Ram temple’s consecration ceremony on January 22. Throughout the northeastern state, celebrations resonated with religious fervor as special prayers and rallies commemorated the historic event in Ayodhya.
In a demonstration of solidarity and reverence, LED screens across Arunachal Pradesh broadcasted live streams of the ceremony, enabling residents to participate in the auspicious occasion from a distance. The ceremony itself attracted the attendance of senior BJP leaders, ministers, and MLAs, underscoring the widespread significance of the moment for the nation.
