Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Credits Victory to Effective Governance, Praises Former OSD’s Analysis
Northeast Desk, 3rd June: Following a resounding victory in the Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Chief Minister Pema Khandu has lauded his former Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Aaditya Tiwari, for his insightful analysis of the factors contributing to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) electoral success in the state.
In a social media post on June 3, Khandu expressed gratitude for Tiwari’s detailed analysis, attributing the BJP’s triumph to the effective implementation of central government initiatives under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Chief Minister highlighted the last-mile delivery of government developmental schemes in the state as a key factor in securing people’s trust in Team Arunachal.
Tiwari, who previously served as an OSD to the Arunachal Pradesh CM, penned an article elucidating the multi-dimensional reasons behind the BJP’s electoral victory. He underscored Prime Minister Modi’s focused attention on the Northeast region, citing the significant number of visits made by the current Prime Minister compared to his predecessors.
One of the noteworthy achievements highlighted in Tiwari’s article was the long-awaited construction of the Itanagar airport, a project that symbolized aspirations and national integration for the region. Additionally, Tiwari commended the state’s progress under the Jal Jeevan Mission, which aimed to provide tap water connections to households. Arunachal Pradesh’s achievement of 100 percent saturation in tap water connections despite its challenging terrain and sparse population was hailed as phenomenal.
Khandu’s acknowledgment of Tiwari’s analysis underscores the collaborative effort and strategic governance approach that contributed to the BJP’s electoral success in Arunachal Pradesh.
