Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Lauds State’s Representation at National Games

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu expressed immense pride in the state’s participation at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand, with Laa Talar leading the badminton team.

Taking to the platform X, CM Khandu conveyed his best wishes to the team and affirmed his confidence in their ability to bring laurels to the state.

“I am proud that Laa Talar will lead our badminton team at the National Games. I am confident that the squad, consisting of Laa Tukum, Samuel Tamang, Laa Robin, Lobsang Choiden Sherdang, Lobsang Choidrup, and Rakju Rigi, will make the state proud,” Khandu remarked.

The chief minister’s encouragement reflects Arunachal Pradesh’s dedication to fostering sports development and inspiring young athletes to shine on national stages.

Meanwhile, on January 14, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein reviewed preparations for the upcoming Golden Pagoda Marathon and Bharat Lok Sangeet – Arunachal Utsav 2025 during a meeting. The marathon, scheduled for February 9, aims to attract athletes and sports enthusiasts from across the globe, promoting fitness and unity against the breathtaking backdrop of Namsai. The music festival will also run from February 9 to 11, showcasing Arunachal Pradesh’s rich cultural heritage.

These initiatives underscore the state’s commitment to promoting sports, culture, and community engagement on both national and international platforms.
