Arunachal: CRPF Jawan Stabbed to Death, Another Injured in Attack

Northeast Desk, 7th September: Tragedy struck along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border on Wednesday night when a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan, identified as Sunil Kumar Pandey, was allegedly stabbed to death in an attack by two bike-borne assailants. Another jawan from the same 106 Battalion in Arunachal Pradesh was also injured during the assault.

According to sources, the two jawans had visited a market area late in the evening while in civilian attire when they were suddenly attacked by the two unidentified assailants on motorcycles. Both jawans sustained stab wounds from a sharp object, tragically resulting in the demise of one of them. The attackers swiftly fled the scene.

The motive behind this shocking attack is yet to be determined. Meanwhile, the injured jawan received immediate medical attention at a nearby hospital.

This incident has raised concerns and warrants a thorough investigation to uncover the circumstances surrounding the attack.
