Northeast Desk, 15th May: The Arunachal Pradesh Government has taken decisive action to annul the recent illegal appointments of 20 individuals as work-charged (WC) staff within the Public Health Engineering and Water Supply Department in the Miao circle of Changlang district.
In an official directive issued on Tuesday, A K Singh, Secretary of the PHE & Water Supply Department, disclosed that these appointments were made in violation of established procedures and without the necessary sanctioned posts.
The government has approved the cancellation of these unlawfully appointed WC staff members within the Miao circle’s jurisdiction. Following this, the Superintending Engineer of the PHE&WS Circle Miao has been instructed to promptly issue formal orders to rescind the appointments of the 20 individuals involved.
This move underscores the government’s commitment to maintaining procedural integrity and ensuring that all appointments within the department adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
