Arunachal Governor Emphasizes Security and Readiness in Tawang Border Visit

Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh — In a strategic move to reinforce border security, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lieutenant General (Retd) K T Parnaik held a significant discussion with army personnel in Tawang district on Tuesday, focusing on border management and security protocols along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

With national security high on the agenda, the governor’s visit underscored the importance of enhancing vigilance and preparedness in this sensitive region.

During his inspection of various border posts, Governor Parnaik stressed the need for adopting modern strategies to bolster safety along the LAC. “The international border in Arunachal Pradesh holds immense strategic importance and is highly sensitive to our national security,” he remarked, calling for advanced security measures and continuous monitoring.

As a former commander of the ‘4 Corps,’ Governor Parnaik encouraged the troops to maintain high standards of physical and mental fitness. “Your readiness is crucial for maintaining the integrity of our borders,” he stated, inspiring personnel to stay vigilant and ready to respond to any emerging threats.
