Arunachal: Itanagar to Host Conference to Bring Govt, Citizens Closer to Begin Today
Guwahati: Arunachal Pradesh is all set to host a two-day regional conference to strengthen ties between the federal administration and the populace through different administrative changes.
The conference will be held at state and district levels in the state capital Itanagar starting on Thursday.
The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) in cooperation with the Arunachal Pradesh government is hosting the conference.
The two-day event will be inaugurated by Union Minister Jitendra Singh, State Chief Minister Pema Khandu, and Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein.
500 administrative service officers from the state government of Arunachal Pradesh will participate in mid-career building programmes in governance over the course of the next five years thanks to a memorandum of understanding (MoU) that the National Centre for Good Governance (NCGG) and DARPG will sign with the state government.
More than 300 delegates from throughout the nation are anticipated to attend the conference. Semi-virtual technology is being used to host the conference.
