Arunachal: Itanagar Women Police Station (WPS) Achieves ISO Certification for Excellence in Crime Handling

Northeast Desk, 27th June: The Itanagar Women Police Station (WPS) in Arunachal Pradesh has been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 certification, underscoring its exceptional efforts in managing crimes against women and children. This recognition highlights the station’s commitment to upholding humanitarian values while safeguarding the rights of vulnerable groups.

Deputy Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Chowna Mein, took to social media platform X to extend his congratulations to the dedicated team. “Congratulations to the entire team of the Itanagar Women Police Station (WPS) on being recognized with the ISO 9001:2015 certification,” he announced.

Mein also commended the team’s unwavering dedication, stating, “This recognition affirms their committed efforts in effectively addressing crimes against women and children, prioritizing a humanitarian approach to ensure their protection.
