Northeast Desk, 4th November: In a tragic road accident on November 4 in Arunachal Pradesh’s Putin, an Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) jawan lost his life.
Initial reports indicate that the accident occurred when a vehicle carrying three passengers plunged off the Kimin-Ziro-Putin Road from a height of 300 feet.
The mishap resulted in the unfortunate death of the ITBP jawan, identified as Lakhinandan Deuri, a resident of Deuri Gaon in Lakhimpur’s Krishnapur.
Moreover, two other individuals sustained severe injuries in the accident and are currently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital.
The TATA vehicle they were traveling in was also completely destroyed.
