Arunachal Kickboxers Shine at National Championship in Goa
Northeast Desk, 29th July: Three kickboxers from Arunachal Pradesh secured top honours at the Wako India Seniors & Masters National Kickboxing Championship held in Goa. Robin Deori clinched the gold medal, while Rantu Sonowal and Hem Taye brought home silver and bronze medals, respectively.
Chief Minister Pema Khandu took to social media to congratulate the athletes on their remarkable achievements. In his message, Khandu praised their dedication and success, encouraging them to continue striving for excellence in their sport.
These victories not only highlight the athletes’ individual skills but also underscore the state’s growing sports infrastructure and support systems.
