Arunachal: Massive Fire Devastates Dirang Market for the Second Time, Leaving Destruction in Its Wake
Northeast Desk, 1st February: In a tragic incident, a massive fire erupted in Dirang Market around 2 am, engulfing numerous houses and shops.
This marks the second occurrence of such a devastating incident within the market area, reminiscent of a fire mishap a few years ago.
The recent fire has resulted in the destruction of nine houses, while two others suffered partial damage in the market located in West Kameng district.
Despite the efforts of two fire tenders from Bomdila, one from Dirang, and water tankers from ITBP, the flames were only brought under control by 6:30 am on February 1.
Approximately twenty families have been adversely impacted by this unfortunate incident.
