Itanagar: A series of vehicle collisions occurred on the icy road near the Sela tunnel in West Kameng, Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday morning.
The incident happened when a passenger MUV, travelling from Tawang to Guwahati, was hit by an Army vehicle due to poor visibility and slippery road conditions.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the multi-vehicle pileup.
The road stretch from Sela to Jang was covered in a thick layer of snow following an overnight snowfall, making it challenging for drivers to control their vehicles.

Local administration in Tawang and West Kameng have been issuing regular traffic advisories, cautioning travellers to exercise extreme caution and fit their vehicles with snow chains while driving on snow-covered roads.
