Arunachal: Namdapha National Park Hosts 7th Butterfly Meet and Nature Camp to Connect Youth with Nature
Arunachal Pradesh – Namdapha National Park and Tiger Reserve (NNP & TR) has launched its 7th Butterfly Meet and Nature Camp, a three-day event held in the scenic Deban area of Changlang district. The camp, which began on Saturday, seeks to engage local school students and community members in a hands-on exploration of nature and biodiversity.
Field Director VK Jawal shared that the initiative is part of a larger effort to foster a deep connection between the youth and their environment. “We’ve planned activities such as bird watching, butterfly watching, nature games, and forest meditation to offer participants an immersive experience,” Jawal said. The main activities, beginning on Sunday, aim to both educate and inspire.
By combining experiential learning with conservation messaging, the Butterfly Meet and Nature Camp hopes to strengthen community awareness about biodiversity and foster a lasting appreciation for the unique ecosystem of Namdapha National Park.
