Arunachal: NCF-FS Training for Teachers Concludes at DIET Pasighat

Itanagar: The four-day in-service training programme on the National Curriculum Framework for the Foundational Stage (NCF-FS 2022) concluded on August 28 at the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET), Pasighat, East Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh.

The programme, which began on August 25, was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Sonalika Jiwani as Chief Guest, with East Siang DDSE Odhuk Tabing as Guest of Honour. Forty teachers from different educational blocks participated in the sessions designed to familiarise them with updated teaching methodologies under the NCF-FS 2022.

Guided by DIET Principal Tapang Taki, the training covered modern pedagogical practices and practical classroom strategies. Faculty members and ministerial staff of DIET Pasighat facilitated the programme’s smooth conduct.

At the valedictory function, certificates were distributed to participants. Emphasising the value of continuous professional development, Principal Taki said that the training would strengthen the capacity of teachers to enhance student learning outcomes.

DIET Pasighat, functioning as a nodal centre for teacher empowerment, reaffirmed its commitment to improving elementary and secondary education in the district through such initiatives.
