Itanagar: Nyigam Colony today celebrated the grand inauguration of a brand new futsal arena, a significant step towards fostering youth engagement in sports and establishing a vibrant community hub. The KK Futsal Ground was officially opened by Nyabi Jini Dirchi, the esteemed MLA of the Basar-Tirbin constituency in Leparada district, Arunachal Pradesh. The inauguration was marked by an exhilarating inaugural match, played by members of the KK Futsal Club, which captivated local residents and community stalwarts alike.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Jini underscored the critical role of youth participation in sports, emphasising its dual benefits for physical fitness and mental well-being.
