Northeast Desk, 29th December: In a recent and alarming revelation, the National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN-K-YA) openly takes responsibility for the assassination of Yumsen Matey, the former MLA for Khonsa West in Arunachal Pradesh. The Naga insurgent group asserts that Matey faced “capital punishment” for his active involvement in what they describe as “anti-NSCN activities.”
