Arunachal Pradesh BJP MLA Phosum Khimhun Passes Away

Northeast Desk, 9th March: Arunachal Pradesh’s BJP MLA, Phosum Khimhun, passed away on March 9 due to cardiac arrest. He was 63 years old at the time of his death.

Khimhun was elected from the 52-Changlang south seat in the 2014 Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly election. Initially, he stood as a People’s Party of Arunachal candidate and later in 2019 as a Bharatiya Janata Party ticket holder.

Khimhun leaves behind his wife and two children. He held the distinction of being the most senior MLA for three decades, having served six terms.
