Arunachal Pradesh CM Launches Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign with Enthusiastic Celebration

Northeast Desk, 10th August: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu today inaugurated the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign from the Civil Secretariat in Itanagar, marking the beginning of a week-long celebration under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.

During the launch event, Khandu distributed national flags to students from various schools and vibrant villages across the state. The ceremony featured a cyclothon with 78 cyclists, who were flagged off by the Chief Minister. Khandu also administered the Tiranga pledge and presented certificates to the participants.

The event was marked by patriotic songs and the unfurling of a large tricolour flag by Khandu, who urged residents to hoist the national flag at their homes. He emphasized the importance of national pride and unity during his address.

The Har Ghar Tiranga programme, running from August 9 to 15, includes various patriotic events such as processions, rallies, runs, and marathons at both state and district levels. The celebrations also honor freedom fighters and their families.

Speaking to the media, Khandu encouraged people to participate actively, hoist the flag, take selfies with it, and inspire others. He reiterated the significance of showing national pride and readiness to sacrifice for the nation, highlighting that the cyclothon also promotes a message of a healthy lifestyle.

“This initiative reflects our commitment to patriotism and our resolve to honor our nation,” Khandu said. “From the border to the foothill towns of Arunachal, we are showcasing our national pride and readiness to uphold the values of our country.”
