Northeast Desk,. 5th February: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu praised the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Khandu took to the microblogging site X to express his appreciation, stating, “The winds of transformation are blowing under the dynamic leadership of Hon PM Shri @narendramodi.”
Reflecting on the significant progress in the region, Khandu fondly remembered the late Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for the allocations in Union Budget 2018. These allocations played a vital role in funding the construction of a tunnel under the challenging Sela Pass.
Prior to 2018, the Sela Pass presented formidable obstacles, impeding connectivity in the region. With Prime Minister Modi’s guidance, Arunachal Pradesh has achieved all-weather connectivity, overcoming previous challenges. Chief Minister Khandu commended the exceptional efforts of the Border Roads Organization (@BROindia) for their incredible contributions to this achievement.
