Arunachal Pradesh Governor Commends Military Troops in High-Altitude Training

Northeast Desk, 29th October: Arunachal Pradesh Governor, KT Parnaik, on October 28, engaged with military troops in the West Kameng district. This engagement took place during the extended Infantry Day celebration, where he visited officers and troops of the Rajputana Rifles who are currently undergoing high-altitude training at an elevation of 14,000 feet, near Sela Pass.

Governor Parnaik conveyed his encouragement to the troops, emphasizing the importance of their combat training and readiness for any potential situations along the high-altitude international border. He stressed the significance of maintaining peak mental and physical fitness, especially in high operational theatres.

The governor reminded the officers and troops of the Indian Army’s proud traditions and called upon them to wholeheartedly commit to their duties and responsibilities. He referred to these soldiers as the true heroes of the nation, highlighting that the Indian people, particularly the Arunachalis, deeply honor them as dedicated patriots who devote their lives to upholding the pride of the nation.
