Arunachal Pradesh Minister Inaugurates Boleng Sub Post Office to Boost Financial Inclusion
Itanagar: Ojing Tasing, Arunachal Pradesh’s Minister of Transport, Panchayat, and Rural Development, inaugurated the Boleng Sub Post Office in Siang district today, marking a significant step toward enhancing financial accessibility for the local residents of Boleng, the district headquarters.
Accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of Siang, Superintendent of Police, and other dignitaries, Minister Tasing distributed India Post Payments Bank passbooks to customers, including women and children, during the inauguration ceremony. This gesture highlighted the government’s commitment to financial inclusion and providing essential postal services closer to the people.
With the establishment of the Boleng Sub Post Office, local residents will now be able to access various savings schemes, insurance policies, and other financial services through India Post, promoting better financial literacy and enhanced banking access in the region.
This initiative is poised to play a crucial role in improving the overall financial accessibility for all sections of society in Siang district.
