Arunachal Pradesh MLA Techi Kaso Leads Expedition to Explore Eco-Tourism Potential

Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh MLA Techi Kaso recently led an expedition to explore the potential of adventure and eco-tourism in Itanagar, with a focus on the “Bud Putu” hilltop, also known as Kala Pahad. Located under the Ganga Panchayat segment at an altitude of 1450 meters above sea level, the hilltop was examined for its feasibility as an adventure tourism destination.

The team, comprising ZPM Zilla Parishad Member Taro Tagia, senior members Techi Nyera, T C Tok, Tok Tayum, Tok Epo, along with officials and public representatives, embarked on the journey to assess the area’s potential. During the exploration, MLA Kaso emphasised the importance of nature preservation, stating that protecting and preserving nature is crucial for safeguarding the world for future generations.

MLA Kaso advised the Adventure Eco Tourism Society of Dema Bud Putu Hills Committee to strike a balance between development and conservation, minimising nature’s destruction while maximising the beauty and potential of the area for tourism development. This initiative aims to promote sustainable tourism practices and showcase the natural beauty of Arunachal Pradesh.
