Arunachal Pradesh Police Crack Down on ILP Violations

Northeast Desk, 10th August: Arunachal Pradesh Police have identified 155 individuals violating Inner Line Permit (ILP) regulations in the state capital area. This detection occurred during a special drive initiated on August 9, according to Capital Superintendent of Police Rohit Rajbir Singh.

The operation targeted areas including Ganga village, Chimpu, and Ganga market, revealing numerous ILP infractions. In response, the Arunachal Pradesh Government has directed all deputy commissioners to enforce stringent ILP checks at all state entry points and checkpoints.

The new directive mandates thorough verification of ILPs to prevent unauthorized entry, with a focus on enhancing state security and protecting territorial integrity. Deputy commissioners are instructed to bolster vigilance with comprehensive checks and increased patrolling at critical locations.

The government has emphasized the need for immediate adherence to these guidelines and regular reporting on the enforcement of ILP regulations and any observed suspicious activities.
