Arunachal Pradesh Police Seek Public Help to Identify Body Found in Papum Pare District
Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh Police have appealed to the public for assistance in identifying a body discovered in the Tikdo area of Papum Pare district. The grim discovery was made on Wednesday morning by a local resident near the ITBP camp, who immediately alerted the authorities.
A police team, led by Sub-Divisional Police Officer Radhe Obing, promptly arrived at the scene to investigate. The body, believed to be that of a person aged between 30 and 32, was sent for a post-mortem examination. Preliminary examinations revealed broken legs and injuries to the chin.
A murder case has been registered at Doimukh police station, as confirmed by Officer-In-Charge Phasang Simi. The police department has urged residents of Capital Complex and Papum Pare district to come forward with any information that could help identify the deceased.
