Arunachal Pradesh: Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ Reaches Itanagar
Northeast Desk, 20th January: In Arunachal Pradesh’s state capital, Itanagar, the stage is set for the arrival of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi with his Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. A large gathering of Congress workers has assembled to welcome Gandhi and other senior party leaders.
Preparations for the yatra include ready-made room trucks that have already reached Itanagar, where the Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra party will camp for the night at Chimpu. Rahul Gandhi is expected to arrive shortly, traveling via Gumnato Gate-Doimukh-Nirjuli-Naharlagun.
Gandhi’s itinerary in Itanagar includes addressing public rallies at SDO Ground, Doimukh, followed by a Padyatra from ‘0’ Point Tinali, Itanagar, to Matto Tarin Govt. Hr.Sec School Ground, ESS Sector, Itanagar, where he will address the public.
The Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra is a 66-day journey covering 110 districts across 15 states, focusing on tribal-dominated regions such as Jharkhand, South Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Odisha. The inclusion of Arunachal Pradesh highlights the Congress’s commitment to engaging with diverse communities and addressing concerns in tribal areas.
