Arunachal Pradesh School Stages Thrilling Comeback to Enter Subroto Cup Semifinals

Northeast Desk, 8th September: In a stunning display of resilience, Govt. Secondary School from Arunachal Pradesh staged a remarkable comeback to defeat Lord Krishna SSS from Haryana 4-3 in the quarterfinals of the 63rd Subroto Cup Junior Boys International Football Tournament on Saturday.

Trailing 1-3 at halftime, the Arunachal Pradesh team turned the game around in the second half. Byabang was the star of the match, scoring a hat-trick that pulled his team level. Tage then sealed the victory with a decisive goal, sending Govt. Secondary School into the semifinals.

Haryana’s early dominance saw goals from Yaman, Sonu, and Sameer, but their lead crumbled under pressure as the high-paced second half belonged to Arunachal Pradesh’s spirited fightback.
