Arunachal: Ramakrishna Mission Hospital in Itanagar to Suspend OPD Services in Solidarity with IMA

Northeast Desk, August 16, 2024 In response to a directive from the Indian Medical Association (IMA) New Delhi, the Ramakrishna Mission Hospital in Itanagar has announced the suspension of outpatient department (OPD) services and elective surgeries for a 24-hour period. This measure aligns with the IMA’s recent press release and supports the IMA Arunachal Pradesh State Branch’s ongoing initiatives.

The suspension will begin at 6:00 AM on Saturday, August 17, 2024, and end at 6:00 AM on Sunday, August 18, 2024. Essential services and casualty care will remain operational to ensure that critical medical needs are met without disruption.

Hospital management has assured that emergency and essential services will continue as usual during this period to address any urgent medical requirements.
