Arunachal: Two Dead, One Injured as Car Plunges 500 Feet in Tezu

Northeast Desk, 11th September: A tragic road accident occurred on Tezu-Anjaw Road in Arunachal Pradesh, where a passenger vehicle (Maruti 800) with registration number AR-17-0113 plunged 500 feet down a hill at Dus Nallah. The vehicle was carrying three individuals, all identified as residents of Khonsa in Tirap district.

Among the victims, two were members of the Arunachal police force. Police official Wangjam Lowang sustained serious injuries, while Tegiam Arang and Aboh Wangsu tragically lost their lives in the accident.

The accident occurred on September 10, with rescue operations continuing late into the night as authorities worked to retrieve the victims and the vehicle.
