Arunachal: Youth Leader Takam Regam Invited to Red Fort for 79th Independence Day

Itanagar: In a moment of great pride for Arunachal Pradesh, youth leader and dedicated social worker Takam Regam has been selected as a special guest for the 79th Independence Day celebrations at the historic Red Fort in New Delhi. The esteemed invitation was extended by MY Bharat, an autonomous organization under the Union Ministry of Youth Affairs.

This recognition honours Regam’s exceptional contributions to youth empowerment and his role in nation-building. As the founder-president of Youth in Action for Arunachal Pradesh and the Arunachal Pradesh Young Mission Adventure Club, he has been a vocal proponent of leadership, social responsibility, and adventure-based learning. His achievements include a second-place finish in the National Youth Parliament 2024 and a victory in the state-level declamation at the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue.

Regam’s work also includes significant involvement in inter-state and border area youth exchange programs, national exposure youth programs, the Jai Bhim Padyatra, and the 8th North East Youth Festival. At the Independence Day ceremony, he will be among the distinguished representatives from across the country who will witness Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s address. Additionally, he is set to participate in a series of other cultural and ceremonial events that are part of the national festivities.
