Sports Desk, 2nd October: India commenced day 9 of the Asian Games 2023 with two bronze medal victories in the field of skating. The women’s team secured the first bronze in the speed skating 3000m relay, while the men’s team followed suit by clinching a bronze in the men’s speed skating 300m relay.
The bronze medalists for the Men’s Speed Skating 3000m Relay were Aryan Pal, Anand Kumar, Siddhant, and Vikram. On the other hand, Aarthy Kasthuri Raj, Heeral Sadhu, Sanjana Bathula, and Karthika Jagadeeswaran earned the Bronze medal in Women’s Speed Skating 3000m Relay.
Indian athletes are poised to maintain their momentum after several outstanding performances in various disciplines on Monday, October 2. Notable events include Ayhika Mukherjee and Sutirtha Mukherjee competing in the women’s doubles table tennis semi-final with a chance to make history by winning a gold medal.
