Sports Desk, 5th October: Saurav Ghosal from India secured a commanding victory against Chi Hin Henry Leung from Hong Kong in the men’s singles squash category semifinals at the Asian Games in Hangzhou on Wednesday.
Ghosal displayed an impressive performance, defeating his opponent 3-0, with scores of 11-2, 11-1, and 11-6, ensuring his place in the final and guaranteeing at least a silver medal in the men’s singles event.
The semifinal proved to be a one-sided affair, as Ghosal, who holds the 19th rank in the world, effortlessly advanced to the final.
Notably, Ghosal had previously earned a gold medal as part of the men’s team in the Asian Games in Hangzhou.
