Guwahati: In a shocking incident, at least ten students from a school in Sualkuchi at Kamrup district of Assam unexpectedly became unwell on Thursday afternoon.
The incident took place at Sualkuchi Kaliram Karikar High School of the district.
According to reports, the number of students affected is expected to rise
However, the cause of their sudden illness is yet to be ascertained and it is suspected that the students may have swallowed something contaminated.
Following the incident, the students were immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for better treatment.
It may be mentioned that three of the ten ten pupils were admitted to the Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) in Guwahati in critical condition.
