The cows were found crammed into the vehicles, prompting the police to ensure their safe release.
The arrested individuals, identified as Ekramul Haq, Rashidul Haq, Abul Mutaleb, and Samiul Rahman, are suspected handlers or passers associated with a larger cow smuggling network.
Notably, two of the three vehicles lacked proper number plates.
The operation underscores law enforcement efforts to combat illegal cattle smuggling, with a focus on dismantling networks involved in such activities. The arrested individuals will likely face charges related to smuggling and mistreatment of animals.
