Guwahati: At least 18 cattle heads seized and two arrested in the connection in Nagaon district of Assam on Wednesday night.
Following a tip off from the sources, the police officials intercepted a truck with registered number bearing AS 02 BC 3142 in the Raha town and seized the cattle heads.
According to reports, the cattle heads was coming from Nagaon and going to Bornihat of Meghalaya and would cross Raha toll plaza in night.
Meanwhile, the police further seized the truck.
It may be mentioned that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
