Guwahati: Two persons were killed on the spot and one suffered injury in a road accident in Bajali district of Assam on Tuesday morning.
The incident took place at national highway no 31 in Kohora area of the district.
According to reports, the accident occurred when the Tata Magic van they were travelling in lost control and collided with the road divider.
The deceased were identified as Niren Barman and Noor Mohammad Ali.
Meanwhile, the injured was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
It needs to be mentioned that the identity of the injured is yet to be ascertained.
