Guwahati: Atleast 21 cattle heads seized and two arrested in the connection in Biswanath district of Assam on Saturday.
The arrestees identified as Ashikur Rahman and Abu Alam.
Following a tip-off from the sources, the police officials intercepted a truck in the Sootea old centre and seized the cattle heads.
According to reports, the cattle heads were being taken to Nagaon and were brought from Silapathar.
It may be mentioned that the cattle were being transported without a permit and valid documents.
