Guwahati: Three pedestrians were severely injured after allegedly being hit by a speeding bike at Kamrup district of Assam on Wednesday.
The incident was reported from Sontala in the district.
The injured persons have been identified as Rajibul Islam, Akhtar Hussain and Nabir Hussain.
According to reports, the trio was walking by the side of the road when the tragedy occurred.
Reportedly, they were allegedly hit by a speeding bike from the behind.
Following the incident, they were immediately rushed to Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) for better treatment.
Meanwhile, the bike that was involved in the collision was seized by local police.
It needs to be mentioned that the owner has reportedly fled from the area.
