Guwahati: Three cyber criminals were arrested along with a large number of objectionable items were seized from their possession in Morigaon district of Assam.
The dreaded cybercriminals were apprehended after the Morigaon Police conducted a search operation at Xogunbari in Moirabari of Morigaon on Friday night.
The arrested cyber criminals have been identified as Isahaque Ali, Rabbul Islam and Gyass Uddin.
The three accused are residents of Xogunbari village in Moirabari.
They have had 1,720 SIM cards in total, a Pulsar bike with the registration number AS-02A-H5609, and 11 mobile phones have been seized from their possession.
Based on specific information the police had received, search operations were launched. The search drives that started in the evening continued till 12 at midnight.
Currently, the trio is being interrogated at the Moirabari Police Station.
