Assam: 3 Homemade IEDs recovered In Sonitpur; Suspect Arrested
Guwahati, 28th November: In a significant development, state police officials today thwarted a potential catastrophe as three handmade Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) were recovered in Assam’s Sonitpur district near the border with Arunachal Pradesh.
The police officials recovered the explosives near the bustling Bhalukpong market.
Moreover, one suspect identified as Ananta Bora, a resident of Bhalukpong on the Arunachal border, was apprehended in connection with the incident.
Preliminary reports suggest that the IEDs were made by Bora himself, raising concerns about the potential motives behind such a perilous undertaking.
