Guwahati: At least 45 cattle heads seized and five arrested in the connection in Nagaon district of Assam on Friday.
Following a tip off from the sources, the police officials intercepted two trucks in the Rupahihat police station area and seized the cattle heads.
According to reports, two other cars accompanying the trucks have also been seized.
However, the cattle were being transported without a permit and valid documents.
It may be mentioned that a case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
