Guwahati: As many as five cattles were recovered from a vehicle in Golakganj town of Dhubri district.
According to reports, Police seized a Chevrolet vehicle and recovered five cows inside the car during the early hours of Wednesday.
Reportedly, the car was involved in a road accident that attracted the police’s attention and then which was later seized by the police.
The law enforcement officials have arrested the car’s driver.
The car’s identification number is AS 01 AA 3644.
As required by law, necessary follow-up actions is being taken and an investigation is in progress.
