Guwahati: Assam Police seized about 5kgs of suspected Cannabis (ganja) and two people were arrested from Hojai District of Assam.
According to reports, the seizure took place on Sunday where a vehicle was intercepted by the Lanka police based on intelligence input.
The arrested persons were identified as Vinod Singh and Amal Singh who were arrested by the police based on specific inputs. They were arrested from the Lanka area of the district.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
